Located in the peaceful hills of Llandeilo Graban — just 9 miles from Builth Wells and 10 miles from Hay-on-Wye.
Here, we grow more than just flowers. We cultivate wild treasures — seasonal, characterful blooms that carry with them the spirit of the Welsh countryside.
For florists who value stems with character and story, I offer seasonal flowers. Click here to sign up to our stem price mailing list.
Perfect for creatives who want to design their own arrangements using fresh, eco-friendly blooms. Whether you're arranging church flowers, planning an event or practicing your own floristry, we can provide flowers by the bucket to suit your needs.
Are you a local business, B&B, guest house, or similar establishment looking to brighten up your guests' experience with flowers? We would love to collaborate with you!
We are always excited to try anything new. If you have an idea, please get in touch! We would love to hear from you and explore how we can incorporate more British-grown flowers into our offerings.
The honesty stall will be open in 2026 again for your to pick up fresh flowers straight from the farm!
We sell jam jar posies, seasonal bunches (sweet peas were a hit last year!), and wrapped bouquets for you to take home.
From Builth Wells:
Follow the A470 South towards Erwood. Half a mile before you reach Erwood, turn left and over Erwood Bridge. Take the first right up the hairpin bends and follow signs for Painscastle. We are approx. 1.5 miles along on the left-hand side opposite Moriah chapel.
From Hay-on-Wye:
Go into Clyro village and take the road by the church heading towards Painscastle. Once out of Clyro, take the first left signposted to Painscastle. Follow the road to Painscastle and then turn left in the village on the B4594 towards Erwood. After 3 miles you go past a crossroads followed by a long hill. We are at the top of the hill on the right hand side.
Prices vary depending on availability and variety.

This year we are hoping to set up a mobile hotspot in case your provider doesn't have good signal.

At Bwthyn Blooms, sustainability isn’t an afterthought — it’s woven into every aspect of how we farm. We thoughtfully avoid single-use plastics and floral foam, choosing reusable materials and gentle, low-impact methods instead. Our goal is to grow with care, honouring both the land and its wildlife, while offering blooms that feel genuine, natural, and deeply rooted in place.
We’re also passionate about celebrating Welsh heritage. The name "Bwthyn" means “cottage” in Welsh, and we hope the brand evokes that cosy, welcoming space where nature meets craftsmanship, and tradition meets creativity.
